Well hey there friends! It's one of the best shopping days of the year! Another Amazon Prime day has arrived, and as always, I like to share my current favorites. Many of these I've shared with you before, but it's fun to gather them again...especially because I'm still using them and most I've had for years. That's a good sign of something that works!
I always take advantage of Prime day every year because they have amazing deals. And you don't have to leave your couch -- score! I usually do some Christmas shopping and plan to do even more this time.

If you don't have Amazon Prime and want it, you can use go here to find out more about it and get a free 30 day trial. We LOVE the quick and free shipping. Many times we'll order something and have it by the end of the day.
Here's a few of my favorite Amazon items that I thought you'd like! (Affiliate links included.) I got a lot of questions about the fold up bench on my porch when I shared the tour of our exterior a couple weeks ago. I couldn't find the link for this one at the time but did today!:
It's more than 40 percent off right now! Edited to add: I thought for sure I had the right link but unfortunately this one is slightly different! The design on the back is different than ours. Still a pretty bench though!
My tub caddy is one of my all time favorite Amazon finds! I keep it on our tub at all times because I think it looks cool:
It expands pretty wide so it fits most tubs. It has a spot for a book or device to lean (and it's adjustable), a spot for soap or a candle and (the best part) your wine glass slides in at the other end. Everything you could need for a relaxing bath!
I talk about this book all the time, I know, but it's because it's made such a difference in our lives. This book about the Konmari method is a super quick and easy read too:
It will change how you look at all the stuff in your home!
This is a fun one and is always a conversation starter at our house. Poo-pouri is a natural spray that you use before you "go" to the bathroom...and it prevents the bad scents from escaping:
It is especially useful when you have company or when traveling with others. I keep a travel version in my bag at all times. :) It really does work and lasts a long time.
Anyone else have the travel pillows that you put around your neck? And they don't seem to ever work well enough? My head was never propped up enough and they never stayed where I wanted them.
We tried brand after brand and I hated them. I was so thankful when I decided to give this foldable travel pillow a try:
It's totally different because it's mostly flat -- not a pillow at all. It's got boning in it that supports your whole head/neck and it is a game changer. You wrap it around your next and secure it with Velcro. You can put it wherever you want it. I prefer it in the front, but you can move it from side to side. It's the only travel "pillow" I've found that works and is comfortable.
I shared this leather purse with you a few years ago and it still looks like the day I got it:
If anything, it looks better as the leather has softened up a bit. It comes in a few colors but this brown is just luscious. It's got long handles and deep pockets. Big devices and even smaller laptops fit easily. I LOVE this purse and use it every year. That says a lot because usually I'll get a purse and it will be worn out within months. I usually pull this one out about now for the fall and winter season and it still looks so good.
And finally, I love this little doodad! It's a tool that's a quick and easy way to thoroughly clean your makeup brushes:
You use one of the grips (it comes with a ton of sizes) and attach it to the brush. I put water and some hand soap in the pot and then push the button to spin it:
I did it by hand in the past and didn't get it close to this clean. If you've ever tried to clean out a paint brush you know how much stuff is inside you can't get to. It's SO much easier to dry them too -- just pull it out of the water and spin while it's in the pot. The brushes keep their shape and dry much faster.
There you go! Some of my all time favorite Amazon finds! Have you used any of these? Do you have a favorite item from the 'Zon?
If you don't have Prime you can use this link to get a free 30 day trial. The Prime sale goes through tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Happy shopping my friends! Let me know if you find anything good!

I do like the leather bag, but I am amazed that you are pulling it out NOW for fall !!!! Really?! It is only mid JULY!!!! We in New England are just beginning to feel like summer. PLEASE don't contribute to excess consumerism by encouraging people in the south where fall will not be there for ages, to be thinking about fall (and buying more STUFF) in July!
ReplyDeleteGoodness Monica! I’m sorry that is just starting to get warm for you where you live, but where I live it’s been hot for months now. I’m not contributing to excess consumerism by talking about when I pull out a purse. I use it for the last half of the year and the winter. Not a big deal, I promise. And...I love fall. And talking about it. So I will. :)
DeleteI'm now in the habit of checking for new blog posts here several times a week. Thanks for this one! On unrelated note: I'm in love with your foyer dresser that you've painted twice now. I actually found the perfect one for me for a different space in my home on NextDoor yesterday just moments after someone else got it! I'm heartbroken! It was the perfect look, just needed paint, and was $25! But I'll keep searching. Meanwhile, you've inspired several organization projects around my (already relatively organized) home that will give my bank account a rest. So that's good!
ReplyDeleteI wish delivery all the way to Hong Kong was cheaper for some of these items! They're waaay too big and since I live halfway across the world, most of the time ordering online doesn't make sense for me. Oh well, just browsing is nice inspiration, too! ❤️❤️

Unfortunately, the link doesn't lead to the same bench as yours. :(
ReplyDeleteThe one pictured above is darker and the back is slightly different. The one at the link doesn't seem to fold away either.
Shoot! Thanks for letting me know! I could have sworn I had the right link.
