Today I'm sharing one of the SWEETEST bloggers out there, Erin from Living Pretty on a Penny. She is lovely and I've been meaning to share her spaces with you for awhile.
I think I've shared my favorite room of hers before, but if so it's so good I'll do it again. I LOVE the living room she recently finished up:
Simple bookcases made a big difference in her family room -- those empty walls are hard to figure out:
You can see how she tiled over the old brick hearth here!
So Erin did something in her kitchen that may surprise some (and make others cheer I'm sure!) -- painted white cabinets dark! I LOVE it. It works so much better in her space:
I hope you'll check out Erin's blog this weekend -- she does such a beautiful job and does it without spending a ton of money. A girl after my own heart!
Have a great and safe weekend!
I think I've shared my favorite room of hers before, but if so it's so good I'll do it again. I LOVE the living room she recently finished up:
She did such a lovely job on this space and she is a pro at finding thrifted items -- that sofa was from Craigslist! And that cane chair? Found on the side of the road. Awesome!
Erin shared how she made the pretty "X" table in this room here:
I love that table -- it's such a warm addition to the space.Simple bookcases made a big difference in her family room -- those empty walls are hard to figure out:

So much richer and warmer and works great with her countertops. Go check out the (fairly) simple cabinet transformation here.
I know it's getting to be too chilly for outdoor spaces for some of you, but others are just now enjoying being outside for the first time in months! Erin recently redid her deck with a power wash and a beautiful set up:
Her deck is not huge so I like that she shows how it's still possible to make it both useful and a beautiful spot. Love it!
And finally, one of my favorite spots in Erin's home, because it's functional and pretty…and because of the dark doors:
I love the dark gray! I waffled between dark gray and black for our doors and went with the latter. Both look amazing. It's a change that adds tons of character to your house!I hope you'll check out Erin's blog this weekend -- she does such a beautiful job and does it without spending a ton of money.
