Let’s kick it off with KariAnne’s spectacular DIY chalk board made from an old window:
Isn’t that amazing? SO cool. And you’ll just die when you see what they did with extra panes from the window. Brilliant. Doing it. Someday.
I love the warm stone around Kelly’s fireplace, mixed with the bold striped drapes:
When I saw the close up shot of her mantel, I thought it was an inspiration shot from a magazine, no lie.
OK, I am drooling over Sita’s beautiful white molding wall in her family room:
Her pillows and fireplace and sofas and rug and lamps don’t hurt anything either. ;)
I’m digging the mid-century modern feel of Kelly’s family room:
I am drawn to this look for our basement – love it. All of the white accessories in the shelves make a beautiful statement too.
I think I’ve shown you Kelly’s (yes, that would be three Kelly’s this time. Kelly’s must just have pretty family rooms in general.) space before, but for some reason I don't remember this gorgeous console:
Oh my, that is just a fantastic piece. I love looking at her space – SO many cool touches in this room.
Kristen’s mantel full of candles shows the power of simple pieces in numbers:
Don’t you just want to curl up on one of those chairs with a throw in front of the fire? Kristen, we’ll be right over. ;)
I really loved all of the COLOR I saw all over the place, and I was especially swooning over Erin’s ottoman in her family room:
I LOVE that print. What a great statement – check out the whole space here!
Kris shared her stunning family room makeover:
Her use of color is fantastic and she pulled it all together beautifully.
What a beautiful room! I think white trim is one of the biggest and easiest (just time consuming) changes you can make to a space.
Isn't that room beautiful? The sconces over the fireplace are so lovely too.
I was swooning over Jessica’s colorful living room:
The live edge coffee table, the dark blue gray walls, the pops of red everywhere – I just love this space!
Hold on to your seats people…I was oohing and ahhing over each picture of Carolyn’s living room redo:
SO lovely!
Oh my goodness, I LOVE Shannon’s man cave – this is the look I’m going for in the basement:
I loved ever bit -- that dark ceiling too! She shares a ton of the her DIY projects along the way too. Awesome space!
Leah’s living room is so fresh and bright – and so cozy too:
It reminded me of spring, which I really need right now. ;)
I think blue is the new neutral – there’s very few colors that don’t look good with it, don’t you think?
Wow- I see why you highlighted those living rooms! Go Kellys! :)
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE the red console table... has a bit of an Asian feel to it but would mix nicely with other styles as well. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteLove that chalkboard! Holy smokes that must have taken forever. Looks great though :) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Sita's family room is beyond gorgeous!! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are some really gorgeous rooms! Did anyone else notice that Erin's kitchen ceiling is striped yellow and white? That is just too cool! Of course, Kelly's red console would just go perfectly in my bedroom 'cause it's decorated with an Asian flare. And Sita's fireplace and red lamps are to die for! I may have to change my main color at home from green to red...
ReplyDeleteI see tons of ideas in each of those rooms! I absolutely love the wall of moulding. The striped ceiling is pretty cool, too.
ReplyDeleteMy chalkboard thanks you so much for the shout out! Love all the features and so much great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and blessed day!

Great features! So much talent out there!
ReplyDeleteThose are perfect living rooms! I really want to stay in one of those amazing rooms. Great post!
ReplyDeleteGreat features, Sarah! Family rooms are my favorite, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore the first photo, as well as the fireplace one with all of the antlers! So rustic! Great post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome feature, Sarah!! Wouldn't you know I have all of the family room furniture against the wall right now so it is nice to know it looked good once. Ha! I've got a new rug to layer on the big one which is of course making me rethink pillows, etc. But the ottoman stays!
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved all the link- so many inspirational family rooms! Hardest room to decorate in my opinion which is why I keep tweaking and tweaking and tweaking...
I so love all the wonderful family rooms that were featured...some of my all-time favorites!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I'm loving all these pretties. I agree that the mid century modern look is so well done there. I especially love the mix of yellow and grey! (two of my favorite colors!)
ReplyDeleteI also love that oversized ottoman! I'm thinking it would be a wonderful thing to have in my work space!!!
I also love the blue pillows behind it in that pic. Too gorgeous!
Shirley
I am plotting how I can take those rooms shake them all up and put my favorite parts in my own space. Might be easier to fly the Kelly's and the Kari's to my house.
