The board and batten office reveal

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away (OK, it was middle America) there was a beautiful (it’s my story, OK?!) blogger named Thrifty.
Thrifty decided it would be fun to redecorate her office. She thought she would slap some paint up on the wall, move some furniture around, and it would be done! A new office, easy peasy.
It only took a few months. And she lived happily ever after. The end.
If only. :)
Instead, I think it took two years? Almost. No, about 18 months. Whatever, it was a long. dang. time.
It seems like it was stuck at half way for about a year:
The only good part about it taking so long? (Besides the fact that I have an office that I LOVE) is that we got some new floors installed along the way, so now the room is just completely new. The floors are the perfect finishing touch.
I am SO HAPPY.
:)
For this post, I’m not going to talk much. Cause I’m just tired people.
I’ll do a follow up post this week with all the details and a recap of how it all came together. For now, here’s allllll the afters. Sorry, I went a little overboard. I figure with an 18 month wait it’s allowed. :)
I am pretty sure this is the most dramatic room redo I’ve ever done. You can decide for yourself at the bottom – I’ll share before and afters next to each other.
Here’s a little tour around the room. Bear with me peeps, I’m a little in love…
Because of the light, the wall color looks a bit different in some of the pics. That one above is pretty true to the color.
You may notice I was able to get rid of the typical, bulky office-type stuff by putting it all in the hubby’s basement office. (I know, I’m mean.) The printer, modem, file cabinets -- all that stuff is outta here.
And we got rid of our old monster computer, so the only things I have up here are a few crafty items, a few office supplies and some filing.
It rocks. :)
Here’s a few more shots of the details:
This room has morphed into a crafty space for the Bub as well, and I’ve tried to figure out cute ways to keep that all corralled.
The little table in the room was my sister-in-laws when she was little and I made it over for this room. It was supposed to be for coloring and crafting, but it’s also used for LOTS of Lego building:
I could squish him. ;)
I can’t wait to share more about the room this week! For now I’ll end with some before and afters, my VERY favorite part!!
I can hardly believe it’s the same room, can you?:
Pretty dramatic, yes? I am seriously in love with this space. Dare I say, it was definitely worth the wait!
I’ll fill you in on sources, layout, how-to’s, colors and pricing this week. If you have any questions about anything specific, please let me know in the comments!
Thanks so much for your patience with this redo! I do (pretty much everything) by myself, and this one was WAY more labor intensive then I ever imagined. It was a labor of love though – I am SO THRILLED!
OK, I’m done. For now. :)
Holla!
Hello Beautiful. I've been checking in on this space for some time and always am drawn to the molding you've installed. But Now...WOW. What a rockin' room. You've inspired me to accessorize my newly redone office space...to add just that little extra.
ReplyDeleteSUPER fabulous! Such a great "all-purpose" room. I moved my office to our formal living room and it has become the hub. Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, WOW! It's gorgeous! I love, love, love the bright sunny corner for your desk! I would really love to know where you got the drapes? Are the PB or did you make them? I've been looking for those colors for my family room. Well done!

I don't comment much but I ADORE this!!! It looks awesome! Great job!

ReplyDeleteLOVE it! I love the colors. They are the same colors I want to redo our house in. Love, love, love it!

ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I love that you filled all that above space with pictures! We have low ceilings (like 8 foot ceilings that are actually lower than 8 feet :) I wonder if I could do that somewhere!!

ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the metal S on your wall? Our last name starts with an S too and I love the metal cut-out look of it.
Your detail shots were great too. Such a great job you have done!
Oh yeah your baby is getting to be such a big boy!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Sarah! It looks beautiful!! The best picture, thought, was of the Bub. I could squish him too!!
ReplyDeleteTraci
Giant big WOW. You are talented. Great photo story today, looking forward to the hows in a later post.
ReplyDeleteLove it! What a great job you did. Love the colors, drapes and lamps! Actually love the whole room. What a difference! Great Job!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah-
ReplyDeleteLove what you did - I always think a room comes out better when it evolves into exactly what you need and want. I love the ceiling, the lamps, everything, but I think I love that dimple in your son's cheek the most - So cute! Your Bub is getting so tall, too. Looks like he loves his new space as much as you.
My best- Diane
Wow! It's so beautiful. Great job and I love all the photos!
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love every single corner of the room. The colors are very bright yet peaceful. I too would love to know where you purchased the drapping! And if you tell me you made them I'm just going to die...I can't sew for the life of me.
ReplyDeleteIt's stunning! (but the before wasn't that bad!) Love the floors. They make the biggest difference!
ReplyDeleteThis room is absolutely beautiful!! You did a fantastic job. I love how serene and peaceful it is. And the blue ceiling is genius. Love!! You really are magic. :)
ReplyDeleteSarah, love the redo! My question....where are all your electronics? I need to do some renovations in my office, trying to figure out a non-ugly option for the printer.
ReplyDeleteLove this transformation. What kind of plant is that photographed above? Our office is also board and batten, same colors. I love the photos and artwork featured on the top.
ReplyDeleteThis room is absolutely beautiful!! You did a fantastic job. I love how serene and peaceful it is. And the blue ceiling is genius. Love!! You really are magic. :)
ReplyDeleteI am not the type to write a comment about these things, but gurrrrl! You have knocked my socks off with this redo. My favorites: the white woodwork on the lower half of the walls & the white desk. Please do share some of your shopping resources.
ReplyDeleteI'm very inspired to do...something!
So beautiful! You did an amazing job.
ReplyDeleteAlso, is that little Lego man Buddy the Elf? Love.
I am in love with how this room turned out! So bright and cozy....I am obsessed with the window treatments! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, what a transformation... so light and bright! Well done! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah, the room looks awesome. I wanted to tell you, in the back of better homes and garden this month is a woman who turned her dining room into a library. I immediately thout of you! You should check it out!
ReplyDeleteSo light and airy in there and I too love ALL of the sun you get through the windows, vitamin D for free!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful job Sarah and so worth the wait. Look forward to seeing how it all breaks down and the details.
Have a great week,
Andrea
Great transformation - love the blue ceiling (I did one in my sunroom) and the framed memo board! Must have been nice to get rid of the Hubs clunky office stuff and relegate it to the basement!
ReplyDeleteKelly
Ummm... Hello Beautiful!! That is a room I would walk into and never want to walk out of, seriously! From the floors to the paint to the fabrics to the decor {not to mention your to.die.for. shabby table/desk} I LOVE IT ALL! Well done :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Sarah! It is such a happy, light-filled space!! The wall treatments and floors are fabulous. The ceiling and pops of color around the room are icing on the cake! Totally magazine worthy!
ReplyDeleteYou said it chica, definitely worth the wait! This is one gorgeous office space! You did amazing. I love it all, seriously! The colors, the details, the lamps, the floors, the curtains, the furniture... all of it. You are amazing!
ReplyDeletelove love LOVE the room. and the lamps--where are they from?
ReplyDeleteLove love love! Every inch! The before and after is just amazing. I really need to know where the lamps are from?!
ReplyDeleteVery, very nicely done! I also used a light blue on the ceiling of our dining room, although the walls are cocoa brown. Shots of blue from the drapes and the treillage pattern rug. Your taupe-and-blue scheme is right up my alley, and I'm eyeballing our master bathroom for a similar scheme as you used. Kudos on a job well done. Love the board-and-batten look, the photo display, and the way you've tied everything together. I hope you pour a glass of wine, put your feet up, close your eyes, and savor the moment!
ReplyDeleteTerry
That change is fantastic and the wood floors look amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this! The colors, art, and board and batten are amazing! :)

ReplyDeleteWow!!! It is breathtaking Sarah! Holy smokes its beautiful. It's magazine worthy. I absolutely love every.single.thing. especially the colorful gallery wall and the board and batten.
ReplyDeleteWow. Very nice redo. I love the walls, drapes well - all of it. No wonder you're too tired to talk much. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love it! Those are my colors so I am really drawn to it but the cutest, best thing in the room is that adorable little dimpled boy, he certainly is squish-able! Reminds me of mine, but he's 31 now and doesn't like when I do that! :) Can't wait to hear more about it all! Will you craft in this room too?
ReplyDeleteWow, what an amazing room! It's so bright- who wouldn't want to work here?? And I love all the kid's art :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great, just beautiful. Lots of work in that room. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love the colors, so bright and cheery! (Your little handsome guy is so big! Wow! They grow so fast.)
ReplyDeleteHuge WOW factor!!! I'm loving the color on the ceiling! I'm so over white ceilings, haha! :) It's just been recently that I've begun convincing the hubby...... Good work on ALL of it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's lovely! Thoughtfully and beautifully done...and so worth every single photo!
ReplyDeleteYou do know that Pinterest may shut down from all the pins from this fab re-do, right? ;-)
Wow, Sarah, it's gorgeous! I LOVE it. I really love the blue ceiling!!! And the frames on the walls, awesome! You're amazing and so is the office. Glad you finally got it done! :)
ReplyDeleteWow!!! The biggest change of all is Bub!!!! Hasn't he grown????!!!! Girl, you better stop feeding that boy or before you know it, he'll be in college. Beautiful room....and so nice you have made it such a wonderful place for Bub!
ReplyDeleteWow your office is absolutely gorgeous! I love the window dressings with the pendant and of course, the floor and wall panelling. I think it's so lovely that your son gets a little space of his own in your work area too.

ReplyDeleteI am in love with this room. It is amazing. I want one :) Great job.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it!! Such a HUGE change! My favorites are the gallery walls and the little turquoise table-too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors - I would do my bedroom in these colors in a heartbeat. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear how you painted over the orange. I have a color called "Crisp Autum Leaves" on my office walls right now w/Olive Green trim. ICKY. Way too dark for an office. :)
~Nadine in Nevada
I love it, it's a great space, bright and happy. I think my favorite part is probably the splashes of color. Very pretty. Just tell me that you usually have papers on your desk and it won't stay that clean? It will make my desk feel better.

It's beautiful, so worth the extra time. So light and airy, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I love it! I LOVE it! (Does it sound like I'm hollering? Cuz I might be!).
ReplyDeleteThe transformation is SSSOOOOOOO stinking drastic, and the new space is so light and bright and inviting.
I especially love the board and batten and the eclectic wrap-around gallery wall.
I also think I have that same fabric from the curtains in pink, but I definitely like your aqua better, which comes as no surprise to me since I have a long-running obsession with all things blue-green.
Well done, Sara!
And HOLLA, indeed! (Can "holla" and "indeed" be used in the same sentence? I'm going with it : )).
Seriously! Big time props for a stunning transformation!
~Abbie (www.fivedaysfiveways.com)
WOWZERS! Everything you do is just amazing! I wish my house was as beautiful as yours! So inspiring! =)
ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm totally blown away! You have a gift, my friend, a true gift.
ReplyDelete~Angela~
stunning! the paint, the floors & the girlie furniture make it look like you doubled the square footage. you have set the bar high for showing off an office space. it may have taken 18 months, but babies take 9 and your office doesn't spit up. bonus
ReplyDeletesimple beautiful!!

Major WOW! Love the photo collage above your board and batten. That is a superb idea!
ReplyDeleteThe whole area is bright and cheery. I can see it totally inspiring... And now that you're done? Have a blast playing. :)
Donna
AMAZING! I absolutely love it, especially the colors you chose!
ReplyDeleteOh my oreos that is AMAZING! Wow! It is unrecognizable. It looks twice as big.
ReplyDeleteDid you ever know that you're my hero? For reals.
WOW, can you come redo my office/rec room? LOL
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how you did the lamp, as I need to do the same type over my sewing table and need to swag the cord over to the wall to plug in, and yours is the best I've seen done!
WAY to go and congrats!
your space looks marvelous. Your hard work and efforts show in the beautiful results.
ReplyDeleteLaura
Aaaaaamazzzzzzzzzing!
ReplyDeleteIt looks stunning!
ReplyDeleteEmma xx
Sarah, it turned out awesome! So bright and cheerful...love the wainscoting! Great job! You're going to love blogging in this wonderful space. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful transformation! The after makes the before seem so dismal and dark, while in reality it was a warm space I can see...but now it's so light and airy...way more inspiring a place to work in! xo
ReplyDeleteOh those blues! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love everything about the new room. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful, calming space! Job well done - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletewow, what a change! It's such an airy room now. And I tell ya, I haven't been on the board and batten bandwagon until recently. Between your space and the Vintage Revival MB reveal I think I have officially been won over. :) Love it!
ReplyDeletewww.wherelovemeetslife.wordpress.com
Amazing! Simply gorgeous. I'd have a hard time getting any work done in there. I'd spend my time just staring at the pretty room! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! But...is it functional? All the stuff you moved to your husband's office, I need. A beautiful office does me no good without my computer, printer, etc. So, I'm confused. And I see this a lot in other blogs too. Beautiful rooms, yes. Meets the needs of how I really live? No. I look at rooms with beautiful arrangements on coffee tables and I think, "Where do you set your drink when you are watching TV?" Is it really just about a "pretty room" ?
ReplyDeleteMelissa wileymel@gmail.com
UNBELIEVABLE!! Wow. What an inspiration you are. I really love the blue ceiling...it being different from the wall color. Awesome. Congrats on such a beautiful functional room!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! So light and bright. I love the ceiling color. Can't wait for all the details.

Oh, I would spend every waking hour in this beautiful room. Please give us the play by play, paint colors, etc. I love the way you made some kid friendly space for your little one!
ReplyDeleteThose floors, those floors, those beautiful floors! Did y'all install them yourselves? We're starting an 800 square foot pergo project in 2 weeks, so I am looking forward to your comments, tips, tricks and triumphs. . . And more pictures, of course :-)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the beautiful work, Katherine
Beautiful! I love your site and creativity. Such an inspiration.

ReplyDeleteSarah it's GORGEOUS!!!! I love how bright and air it is! I need to do this kind of transformation to our family room!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! One question - is that quatrefoil mirror from Target? I have three like that with black frames that I want to do gold for our master bedroom - if you redid it, what did you use?
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks fabulous!!! Way to go! I bet you are tired! Yes, that aorable little boy is definitely squishable! :-)
ReplyDeleteamazing i love it definetly worth the wait hee hee
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the desk in the sunlight. Beautiful room!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! It turned out so beautiful, inspiring and peaceful. The colors are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I am looking forward to getting your details, esp the ceiling paint color. Perfect! And your little Bub is so precious! I'd squish him too!
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for the finish of this room for so long! About a year ago I used the idea of the white batten board look in my bedroom (That I have yet to completely finish) I get so much inspiration from your blog. Thank you! And Congrats on your new office!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm speechless. It's so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. What came first-your color inspiration or the fabric? Did you pull your colors from the fabric or find the fabric to match your colors? Very well done.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!! That is a stunning reveal! I looooove the light the room projects now. It looks so inviting, Bravo Sarah!
ReplyDeleteYour room looks amazing, as I knew it would! I can understand why you hardly ever post pics of your Bub- he kinda' steals the show (still loving those dimples)! :) If I listed everything I love about this room, well, I'd be writing the post for ya. I can see why it took so long, all your hard work shows. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteLove your new office, especially the way you've displayed the art. Been wanting to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I love the way you write. So entertaining!
ReplyDeleteSusan
It's very light and bright. Perfect for crafting and playing legos, too.:) Just a question: What was this space in the homes original layout? A bedroom, office, den? Just wondering. I like the wall color, (top) you will have to fill us in on the name. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I can't say that I didn't like the before, it was nicely organized and you had nice items and everything. The after is just a lot lighter, brighter and charming, and certainly more personalized. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHi, long time reader here and for some reason first time commenter. I need to get better at commenting...I just love your blog. Wanted to let you how awesome the office redo is. I absolutely love the art going all the way around the room. I'm trying convince certain people that we should something similar down our long and boring hallway. Maybe your pics will help seal the deal!! Enjoy that new office!!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! What a beautiful space...I love the lighter palate and the way you brought some green in there with the little plant :-) Nice job!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color choices! The white painted table/desk is my favorite part...nicely done, Thrifty!
ReplyDeleteBeautimous! It is amazing! Love the kid's table, so adorable!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! This is the most gorgeous office I have ever seen!! So bright and airy and cheerful!! Please let us know what wall color you used the fabric of your drapes. PLEASE!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSarah, it looks FANTASTIC!! I love everything about it, but am really loving all of the kid artwork you have incorporated - gallery style. The whole room is so fresh and so pretty, you must really enjoy working in there!! Great job - well worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteYOWZA!! I am obsessed with the curtains (did you make them), the wall/paint colors, and the board and batten. Amazing work! Can't wait for the breakdown!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love it too! I would probably just sit in there for hours staring at its awesomeness. Love how you were able to incorporate the little man's stuff w/the style of the room...and the gallery wall all around, love, board and battan, love, everything, love! I'm inspired to get moving on my projects.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful space. Absolutely beautiful. I have to say, the floors are the perfect touch. I was on team dark floors and I'm so glad you went that way.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I really love the pictures all around the top.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking. I have loved following this makeover---and your blog over the years. My husband and i love your style. :)
ReplyDeleteSo great! Love, Love, Love!
ReplyDeleteHoly guacamole!!!!! Love it! I was thinking about doing this type of molding in my front room and your redo was the affirmation I needed. Thanks for sharing! Job well done...keep inspiring!
ReplyDeleteOne word: PHENOMENAL!!!!!!
ReplyDeletetotal transformation ... amazing! what a happy place! love that desk in the sunny corner by the windows :o)
ReplyDeleteLove. Simply LOVE!
ReplyDeleteJen xo
It is so beautiful! And I love how family oriented it is with all of Bubs art and areas for him. BTW... he is getting so big!!! I started reading your blog about 2 years ago, the change is crazy! And i also have to admit, the way I found you all those years ago was through your drum shade makeover : ) for reals. Love all that you do Sarah!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth the wait! Love the fabrics and the paint colors! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! The colors are just beautiful and the wall panels, (is that what they are?) well they look fantastic! It is so much brighter and cheerful than the before. I have a dark red dining room I am hankering to lighten up, just have to convince my hubby that it's time for the red to go! I feel so inspireds what you have done!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Sarah! I love it! So bright and sunny!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!! Love the colors and brightness!
ReplyDeleteYou need to know that you are causing some marital discord in our house though! When you first showed that fabric 18 years (I mean months, sorry! ;) ) ago I showed it to my husband at joann's (when it was conveniently 60% off!) and he said he didn't like it. Now, I know I can't hold you responsible for the fact that the man should not be so opinionated about fabric for curtains, but it has been a problem ever since! I love that fabric and NEED it for our curtains. I just emailed him a link to your post so he can see it in a beautiful finished room. Fingers crossed he will see I was right all along! ;)
Very nice job on the office! I love everything about it!!
STUNNING! A major transformation from the dark before. I love it!
ReplyDelete-Diana
I liked the office before, and wondered why you were redoing it, but I LOVE the office now! The colors are stunning!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING!!! It's gorgeous! To think I was so proud of getting my office clean. UGH!
ReplyDeleteI luurve (isn't that how you say it? :) the pictures and photos along the top! It draws your eyes upward and makes the room seem so much taller! Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful....I love everything about your new office.....
ReplyDeleteWow!! Talk about a transformation from dark to light! It looks wonderful, and I can't wait to hear about all the details. Congrats on finishing such a big project!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm thinking I may even be inspired enough to attempt a similar transformation in my own home! Thank you for sharing your fantastic work.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! I am working on a batton type project in my kids bath. I have been inspired by your blog many times (but this might be my first time to comment). Is the ceiling painted a light blue? It looks amazing. I would love to hear about the whole process. I am also thankful I am not the only one that may take over a year to finish a project!!! Laura

ReplyDeleteWow! So beautiful and I especially love your pops of turquoise everywhere! What gorgeous light you have now with the wall color change! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful. I would never keep mine that neat though! It was worth the wait. Love your color scheme and the way you did the wainscoting!
ReplyDeleteLinda
Love all the colors, the wall treatment, and the way you incorporated some space for your son. I am just wondering if it isn't too cutsy and not enough practical. I hate having all the computer crap in our current downstairs office station, but when it was upstairs out of site it was a little too much out of mind. It was a total pain to get some of that filing, copying, printing stuff done when I really didn't want to be "stuck" upstairs doing it while the rest of my family was downstairs doing their thing. Maybe with your planned basement remodele you already had that in mind, but I was really hoping for a way to disguise that bulky technology crap that is in plain sight.
ReplyDeleteWorking on my own "office space" too for more than a year and still counting if mine ends up half as nice as yours i'll be happy its beautiful enjoy it and that beautiful boy!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic! Great Job!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Your office is stunning!! I'm so inspired! All those beautiful memories along the top portion of the wall...just beautiful. Seriously, amazing job!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone!! I will be sure to address all the questions in my post this week!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I've been waiting for this reveal along with you forever :) and it is worth it! Beautiful. I especially love the curtain fabric...I already had been eyeballing that myself when you showed the first "hint" about it. LOVE IT! Great job!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! What a great room to think and dream in :-) I can't believe it's the same space.
ReplyDeleteLooks FANtastic. Love your original take on a gallery wall, hung high. This looks like such a fun room to be in.
ReplyDeleteSeriously beautiful! I'm loving your drapes - can't wait to hear about the source.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, it's beautiful and you have so much room! And you are so organized, please come help me. I like my walls covered with pictures too. Love, love, love it.
ReplyDeleteLOVE, Love, love this room! It's light and cozy at the same time. I also am totally in love with your drapes. Did you purchase them or did you sew them yourself? What's the name of the fabric? I would love this pattern in my living room.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a transformation. I love the colors you used!
ReplyDeleteSarah. That room is genius. Congrats on a job well done.
ReplyDeleteWow, so beautiful. I did like the old room too, but I agree, hard to believe it is the same room. Wow. So bright & cheery. I was just taking in every detail. I'm totally understanding of 18 months for this project. For you, yeah, Mrs. TDC, it is usually more like 18 ...minutes? Hours? You are pretty amazing, but this result and 18 months is fabulous. [And would be fast FOR ME.] Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love the sky blue color on the ceiling. Sooo sharp. Had you seen that done somewhere, or just decided to do? Love it.
Lovely room!

ReplyDeleteWOWwww! What a transformation! ...the before and after is truly from dark to light, lol! Such an inspiring and motivating room to have as an office now, it's B-E-A-U-tiful and so refreshing. I love how you added pictures and little things to make the space truly yours...capturing the colorful memories, moments, and things/shapes that inspire creativity, warmth, and fun...that's what all offices should feel like, so that you are more motivated and excited about 'work' which should be 'FUN'! Also love the tall wainscoting and how clean if feels yet has so much cool, inspiring, colorful stuff too. Way to balance! I love practical simplicity in an inspiring place...it's amazing you fit all your essentials in a that beautiful black dresser, way to go!!! ...can't wait to see/hear the details, that was lot of work!

ReplyDeleteSo fun to see the total reveal. I really LOVE IT!!! One question, is there a standard height for board & batten? Great idea too, about the small blue/green table -to have a bit of the round cut back so that it fits well against the wall. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteI just super LOVE your style. Very Pottery Barn'ish! Is there a place where people are linking up to their creative spaces? I love getting ideas - and would like to share my work in progress as well. :-)
